A Tribute to Eustace W.E. Hill: A Legacy of Excellence in Education

It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Mr. Eustace W.E. Hill, a true pioneer of education in our nation. Mr. Hill, who served as the Executive Secretary of the Board of Education from 1994 to 2000, passed away on December 23, 2024.

During his tenure, Mr. Hill played an instrumental role in establishing the Board’s foundation. He embraced the challenge of building a new institution with a profound sense of duty and a commitment to excellence. His focused approach and high expectations fostered a culture of professionalism that continues to inspire those around us to strive for and exceed expectations.

Mr. Hill’s legacy lives on in the countless lives touched by the educational programs he championed and the organizational excellence he instilled. We remember his zeal, his effervescent passion, the standards, and the laughter he brought to our halls.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, management, and staff, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr. Eustace Hill. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that the Board of Education remains true to his founding principles and is, as he would proudly say, “Excellent and getting better!”
